about
I created this track with recordings of two dough mixers. I recorded the sound but also their electromagnetic fields while they mixed a sour dough. Simone made good tasting bread out of the dough for her performance she did at Schlafende Hunde festival, an arts, performance and sound festival in Nuremberg.
Autolysis is the process of selfdigestion through certain chemicals, which is a part of making dough aswell as the first thing that happens when anything rots away.
The track has a strong and deep, throbbing, stereo bass. Play it loud on a good system to be affected by the bass in a proper way.
